Raksha Bandhan 2020: A celebration with Covid-19 frontline warriors
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Sarvamangala Trust(R) in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Mangalore City RID 3181 celebrated with the frontline corona warriors of the city by tying the rakhi by the members of Sarvamangala Trust to Vikram Amathe (Addition Superintendent of Police) and Dr.Rajendra K.V (Deputy Commissioner of Mangalore City) and also raised awareness about the safety measures to be followed during this pandemic by releasing the poster. Managing Trustee of Sarvamangala Trust (R) Swarna Pai, Trustee Muthuraj, Dr.B Devadas Rai (Chairman PDG MPHF Rtn) and Rtr.Rajesh Devadiga for this program. On 4th August meeting we celebrated raksha bandhan and Swarna Pai (Managing trustee of Sarvamangala trust) tied rakhi to the Chairman of rotaract club PDG MPHF Rtn Dr.B Devadas Rai,President Rtr.Darryl Steven D'souza and also raised awareness about the safety measures to be followed during this pandemic by unveiling the post.

Diwali Mela 2020: Promoting the works of Persons with disabilities
To promote the works of the persons with disabilities and also to create awareness, Our stakeholders, girls with vision impairment painted & also we sourced greeting cards & gift bags made by persons with disabilities, we promoted these by making diwali gift kit & selling them locally using social media. Sarvamangala Trust created opportunities for persons with disabilities by creating awareness by promoting their works. Adani Wilmar Ltd. Employees, Baikampady Industrial area, brought out most of these Diwali kits to present to their fellow employees. Few Rotaract Mangalore city club members also bought this for gifting and many individuals and companies got the awareness of this initiative to promote the works of Persons with Disability.

Vanamahotsava 2020 : Planting trees with organic manure.
Joining hands together with service organisations to plant trees to save our mother earth and also created awareness on the Sarvamangala’s Green Project initiative by Persons with Disabilities, especially organic manure from kitchen waste & temple flowers. Planted sapling in Urva police station campus along with Police personnel, Rotary & Rotaract club members of Mangalore city & Central. Sarvamangala Team participated by donating organic manure for all the saplings planted on the occasion. Awareness created about Sarvamangala’s green initiatives for persons with organic manure made from kitchen waste & temple flowers.

Christmas Gift Hamper Event 2020
To create a fundraising model for the public service coaching & also to promote the works of the VI impaired girls, encouraging them to use their creativity & make goodies for hampers. We made exhaustive plans with our visually impaired candidates & tried out many prototypes, encouraged them to take initiative & we finalised hamper with candle making in glass bowl, handmade greeting cards with visually impaired girls, Gift hamper bag by physically disabled girl, Organic honey sourced through a family of a girl with intellectual disability, Local companies such as Campco sponsored chocolate bars & Ribbons & Balloons sponsored cookies. We made 100 Gift hampers. We were able to sell them and raise about 1.2 Lakh for our Public Service Coaching project for Visually Impaired girls. We channelled our candidates to take a lead on entrepreneurship in making various candles, greeting cards, hamper bag making etc. We were able to reach many individuals, organisations spread awareness on the cause - public service training for VI & also promoting the works of Persons with disabilities. We were able to reach a lot of people & also got our article published in News Karnataka channel. We were able to raise funds for the first 4 months of the Public Service training project budget.
